I should be sleeping...

This is one of those times where I'm sitting here trying to make myself turn off the computer and go to bed but I can't quit looking at these images. This is my best friend Melissa's new baby, Keelyn. She's giving me baby fever BAAAD! I was hoping that she would cure it but it's not working. :) I wish I could see her every day but Melissa lives too far for me to make the trek over there that often, so I'll have to get my fix in my once-a-week-or-so visit. Isn't she an absolutely beautiful baby? Seriously. She has the most beautiful skin! And so far (I don't want to jinx anything buuut.....) she sounds like she's a pretty laid back baby. Okay, okay. I'll quit rambling now. (to my family who reads my blog... don't get too excited- we are in NO hurry :)

One more family...

Hubby and I made the trip to Waco a few weekends ago to hang out with my cousin and her family. It was another reeeeaaaaalllly cold session. The kids did so good considering the circumstances. We shot a few, went home and played and defrosted, and then Chris made us YUMMMMY Frito pies. I haven't had one of those in years and it was delish! Here are a few that we got for their Christmas card.

I always feel so cheesy when I talk about how sweet the families are that I have worked with and how easy their sessions have been, but it is so true. I am so very thankful for each and every one of you. I am blessed to know you and I cannot wait to see what next year holds. I am overwhelmed with the support and patience you guys have shown to me this busy holiday season while trying to balance family and work. I know that I wouldn't be doing this if not for you guys.

Ok, now about this next family. The ONLY thing that would have made this any easier was if the wind would have died down for just a few minutes but that's ok it makes for flowy hair. :) These kids were so fun to run around and play with and we even got some good shots in the mean time. I think they had fun showing me their super fun back yard and Grant even told me of his love for Christmas lights.. hehe. Here's a few from our fun laid back afternoon.

Whew!!

I'm on a total editing marathon! I've got one more session from last weekend and I will be caught up and pretty much through the Holiday rush.... Whew! This family was a last minute add on to my list of sessions this past weekend and boy am I glad that we were able to coordinate our schedules. I feel like we got some great images... I think mom will be happy :)

ANTM's

This family was so funny! It was Mom and Dad and the two sisters and it soooo reminded me of my family when I lived at home.... except a little prettier :) Not that my family isn't pretty but check out these girls... they have the best smiles and the prettiest eyes.
When asked if they got along (because they were when I was at their house), they said in unison "NO!" hehe.... ohhhhh how I remember those days! Girls: I know you won't believe me when I say this but there will come a day when you look back and laugh at the things that you fight about now. My sister and I didn't get along very well when I lived at home but I can almost promise you that you guys will end up liking each other and maybe even become friends :) Read here for a little story on my own personal experience. Thanks for welcoming me into your beautiful home!

1:3.... Poor Boy :o)

Poor little Carter is WAY outnumbered in this family with THREE big sisters! Whew... if only he knew what he has coming. :) But you can tell in these pictures that his big sisters think he is the greatest! This family of six was so fun to photograph. We climbed rocks and trees and laid in the grass and raced to the tree... All in the name of getting a few good images. haha. Thanks guys for another fun session! Enjoy.

A Quick Peek...

Have I mentioned that I LOVE photographing babies?? :o) I had a family this morning that has a brand new baby sister. The kids had fun eating candy canes and waiting so patiently while I took some pictures of sweet little baby sister.... Enjoy.

Then, I met up with some more friends of ours and took a few family pictures... Here's a couple of my favorites...

Yaaaaay!

The rain let up for a few hours this afternoon and I was able to get some great shots of this sweet family. These kids were INSANELY well behaved (considering it was FREEZING COLD outside). Even little Mr. Cooper was shivering! I was amazed at how fast our shoot went. We were finished in about 45 minutes and I came home with some great shots. Thanks for an easy afternoon!

I love this weather

EXCEPT on a weekend that I have 4 outdoor sessions scheduled... Ahhhhhh. Oh well. Audrey and I have had a fun weekend playing while daddy's hunting. She's teething so I've had to be extra creative and find ways to keep her busy... Friday night we had our friends Cynthia and Ian over and we played then went to dinner at Red Robin. YUMMMMY! Today we ran errands and ate lunch with big Audrey. Tomorrow we are going to breakfast, finishing laundry :) and then HOPEFULLY (my fingers are crossed) the weather will hold up and I'll have a shoot at 3. So, that means there should be a sneak preview up by tomorrow night... Please don't rain, Please don't rain, Please don't rain....

Worth the Wait
