.so. .sweet.

My friend Lisa called me and asked me if I would be interested in photographing her family a few weeks ago. They just added to the family about a month ago with sweet, content little Graeson. Since he's so young and so little and it's so hot outside, we decided to stay indoors. And, because they have a really well lit bedroom (and they love hanging out in their bed) we went strait in there. I love the feel of these pictures in black and white. Such a sweet sweet family.

Thanks again Lisa for an enjoyable afternoon. I'm almost finished edited your album... I will post it on the website in the next few days.

because I know mommy is waiting...

I'm going to mad at myself in the morning for staying up this late but this sweet baby is so worth it. :) She was so fun! I met Miss Brooke and her mommy for some playtime at the park and she was so cooperative and still and not eating dirt... that's until I opened my big mouth. We were playing, I was shooting and I just happened to make a comment to mom about how impressed I was that she didn't put everything in her mouth. I'm not kidding when I say no more than a half of a second later she was putting fist-fulls of dirt in her mouth!! haha! It was so funny! You would think, being a mom myself, that I would have learned not to make comments like that(because you know it ALWAYS happens) but I guess not. I love the fact that I had to edit dirt off of her face. That's my kinda girl right there...

Blushing Bride

I met Stacey through my mom and I was honored when she asked me to take her bridal portraits. This lucky girl spent the last week on beach in Puerto Vallarta marrying her beau. I wish I could have gone but I'm sure the ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Here's a little sneak peak, Stacey. Hope you like. :)

Stayed tuned... I think she and her hubby are going to be doing some funky cowboy-urban photos in the next few weeks. I'm excited and up for the challenge!

it was hot...

...but he was SO GOOD!

Ok, so I will have to admit- I almost always go into one year old sessions expecting to be tested more than I ever have been. Not because I don't like those sessions but because I am the mommy of a one year old myself. When taking her one year pictures she wouldn't even look at me!! So, I just assume the worst and I have had some of the funnest one year old sessions. And this one is now towards the top of the list! Little Mr. Landon did so well considering by the end of our session his cheeks were the reddest little cheeks I have ever seen! Thanks again Christi for an enjoyable afternoon!

I think I might love one year olds after seeing this one. :)

I. love. toddlers.

I know. I'm crazy. I don't know if it's because I can relate to their mommies because we are in the same boat or if I just love this age, or if I'm absolutely crazy and love a challenge. Maybe it's all of the above. This is the son of the ultra patient, laid back, so very loving (a little crazy for spending her days with two crazy kids) sitter. She watches my baby during the day while I work. She is truly a saint for putting up with these two. I don't think I could do it. :) Austin turned 2 in January so we are a little behind but better late than never right? I'm hoping to get the take little sister's newborn pictures at the end of the month. I do love me some newborns. :)

And one last one of my daughter leading him around... typical.

the closest thing I've got to a neice...

... is little miss Chloe here. Her mommy is my bestest friend. Their family came over on Memorial Day and we had dinner (yummy fajitas with all of the fixins) and then went and played at the park to get these shots of her for the big 2nd birthday. The guys were ever so excited to stroll around with Audrey and Chloe's little sister Keelyn but I think it was worth the sweating and chasing. Isn't her sweet curly hair absolutely dreamy?

annother sweet boy

I JUST finished editing this sweet boy's session and I couldn't wait to get these on here. The trend lately has been for me to blog at about midnight but I just couldn't wait this time. I hope his mommy loves what we got. ;)
