too many favorites

Sorry about the image overload but I just can't seem to pick two or three favorites so you're getting seven. I'm sure Stacie won't mind :) I met up with her this morning and we could not have had better weather. It was a little cool but better cool than blazing hot, right? Thanks, Stacie, for another super easy shoot. I enjoyed walking around with you and your mom... who, by the way, I owe a big thanks to for making Stacie laugh and look a little more comfortable. You're a pro!

so I get a little bored :)

I've spent the last few days working on a slight (hehe) makeover for the blog AND the website while my little Munchie was napping. When Jonathan asked me if he could substitute play in a double header for our church softball team last, I thought.... "ooo that would give a few hours of tap top time" :) So, a few hours later, waaahlaaah!! Click here to see the new website. Same name different colors. I'm excited to see a color other than boring old black. :) I know the pictures pop with a black back ground but I was tired of it. Let me know what you think!

sweet. sweet. girl.

Isn't she ADORABLE?!?! Meet Miss Karlee. She was soooo good considering her mom told me she was cutting 6, yes SIX, teeth at one time! Ahhh! I think the most my baby cut at once was 2 and that was no fun. I can only imagine what 6 is like. She's the fourth child so I think she's pretty go-with-the-flow. She did so good at our session. I think she was quite the little model. :) Thanks Michelle and Karlee for another easy afternoon! Enjoy your sneak peek.

I love the idea of giving photographs as gifts. Heather and Josh are friends of ours and Heather came to me with the idea of doing these for her Mom and her Mother-in-law. Action Jakson

I've been trying for a week now to get the images of little 14 month old Jak up on my blog. I FINALLY realized that I just needed to download a new version on Flash Player. duh. So, Jill, here's your (very late) preview. Maybe I should call it a postview. haha. Anyway, this sweet boy wasn't so sure about me and my camera. I had his attention at first, then he got comfortable and then I quickly learned why his nick-name is Action Jakson. You'll see that in the last picture. Thanks little Mr. Jak for our fun, eventful afternoon!

chilly. but fun.

I know I've got a couple of Mommies waiting to see their sneak previews from this last weekend... So here we go. I met up with the first family on Sunday morning and it was CHILLY. The kids did so great considering poor little Avery would have much rather been in her warm sweats. :) Thanks again for making this session another easy one. I love the idea of this last one. The town that Lisa is from runs a special section in their paper on Mother's Day with pictures of the local Mommies and their babies. Her family still lives there so she is going to send one the shots of she and her kids in!

growin' like a weed

I should be sleeping but my body thinks it's 10 instead of 11. So, here I am in my cozy bed with my lap top right where it should be. in. my. lap. :) I went and spent the day with my friend Melissa at her house on Friday. We had so much fun (like always) laughing about the stupidest things... Loading up the girls and heading out for lunch at the OH SO YUMMY Cafe Express, me spilling salad dressing allll over the side of my pants, then going to Old Navy to try on about 17 pairs of pants and jeans only to confirm the fact that we have both known all along- their jeans fit FUNKY, the lady in the yellow crocks (hehe), driving to THREE stinkin' McDonald's to get a dipped cone... Yes, it took three of them. They thought we were crazy to want ice cream with snow on the ground. Can't a girl (or two mommies) get a stinkin' ice cream cone. ha. ha. ha. Anyway, part of the fun was taking these images of Melissa and her sweet baby Keelyn. Who, by the way, is growing WAY too fast! Here she is... three months old. Enjoy!

whew... the third post tonight

Ok, so I decided to make my friend Cynthia squirm a little and make her wait a few days to see her sneak preview. he. he. We met up on Sunday afternoon to take our babies 18 month pictures. Her baby, Ian, is just a few weeks younger than Audrey and after the craziness of Audrey's 12 month pictures I decided to let another photographer do these. So, here is Ian... I went to Misti's house a few weeks ago to get a few family and maternity shots of she and her family and we didn't end up with any of just her that I loved... at least not like I love these. I think she will love them, too. :)

sweet little two year old

My friend Nicole wanted to surprise her sister (who hopefully doesn't read my blog) with pictures of her daughter for her birthday... I think mommy's going to like this birthday gift- especially since she doesn't know these are coming. :)
